Some of these meetings are not friendly.This novella starts with a bang and keeps on hitting it out of the park.There is no profanity, and no harem trash. Fourteen flighty females do not fling their forms at his feet in the first fifteen pages. This is the tale of a well meaning social outcast who becomes slightly less outcast, and gets superpowers in an alternate Earth that has better architecture. It is a tale of a hero, he said, nonironically.
